FUSER AND PRINTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device and method that improves service life of the printing device and image quality and is used for forming an image on a medium. SOLUTION: The printing device includes a first roll having a first outer surface, a second roll having a second outer surface, an axial line of the longitudinal direction, a length dimension along the axial line of the longitudinal direction, and a nip between the first and second outer surfaces. A first impression is formed at a first position on the second outer surface with a first indenter during rotation of the second roll, and a second impression is formed at a second position on the second outer surface separated from the first position along the length dimension to the side with a second indenter during rotation of the second roll. The medium is fed to the nip, so that the medium comes into contact with each of the first and second outer surfaces and the first and second impressions are superposed on first and second facing edges of the medium.
