WINDING ADJUSTER OF BALANCER DEVICE, AND DOUBLE-HUNG SCREEN USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding adjuster of a balancer device, for adjusting the amount of winding of a torsion coil spring in the balancer device capable of holding a double-hung screen in an arbitrary position by generating torque with a spiral rod and the torsion coil spring, while having an improved rigidity, so as to rewind by a very small amount. SOLUTION: The torsion coil spring 18 and the spiral rod 8 are housed in a balancer case 5 of the balancer device 4 while the spiral rod is connected to the double-hung screen 2, and the balancer case is connected to a main shaft 15 of the adjuster 13 which is fixed to a window frame. A gear 23 and ratchet teeth 26 are formed on the main shaft 15, and a gear 32 of a winding shaft 33 is meshed with the gear 23. A plurality of ratchet teeth 39 of a pair of stop pieces 40 and 41 are meshed with the ratchet teeth of the main shaft. When the stop pieces are alternately moved by a rewinding shaft, the torsion coil spring is rewound by a very small amount. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
