MOUNTING STRUCTURE OF STEERING GEARBOX

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a steering gearbox, capable of attaining both of restraint of vibration and noise in a cabin and assurance of high driving stability and of individually adjusting vibration-noise levels generated by individual differences of the steering gearbox. SOLUTION: The mounting structure of the steering gear box is a structure for mounting the steering gearbox 10 on a suspension member 20 through a connection device 30. The connection device 30 has an elastically deformable rubber bush 36 between the steering gearbox 10 and the suspension member 20 and further has an adjustment device 40 capable of adjusting the initial deformation amount (deformation amount at mounting). The adjustment device 40 is provided between the steering gear box 10 and the suspension member 20 and is structured to adjust a mounting angle of the steering gear box 10 to the suspension member 20 and to adjust the initial deformation amount of the rubber bush 36 by the adjustment of the mounting angle.
