DEVICE FOR THREAD-STITCHING OF FOLDED PRINT PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for thread-stitching, having a compact configuration, in particular having a shorter processing route and easily controlled and operated. SOLUTION: The device (1) for thread-stitching of folded print products includes a sewing station (4) in which individual print products (2) are temporarily stitched along the fold (5) and are then sewn together on the back face (23) with the fold (5) to form one book block (3). A pivoting saddle (9) supplies the individual print products (2) straddling thereon to the sewing station (4). The device (1) includes a feeding arrangement (14) which has a feeding end (12) cooperatively operated with a paper feeder (10) with the individual print products (2) already standing and a discharge end (13) cooperatively operated with the pivoting saddle (9) to supply the individual print products (2) to the pivoting saddle (9). Considering the configuration, the sewing station (4) is arranged on a machine frame (17) of the device (1), between the feeding end (12) of the feeding arrangement (14) and the pivoting saddle (9).
