PACKET COMMUNICATION CONTROLLER AND PACKET COMMUNICATION CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a packet communication controller enabling efficiently converting a marking value to be imparted to a packet in converting a packet policy between networks having different QoS policies. SOLUTION: The packet communication controller for converting a packet policy in packet transfer between networks having different QoS policies includes: a classifying means for determining the type of packet based on a marking value imparted to a reception packet and deciding the marking value after transfer as a remark value for each of the reception packet type based on the QoS policy of a transfer destination; a preferentially controlling means for transferring in accordance with the priority decided by the classifying means; and a rewriting means for rewriting the marking value of the reception packet into the remarking value decided by the classifying means.
