ELECTROSTATIC PROTECTION CIRCUIT AND PORTABLE TERMINAL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrostatic protection circuit and a portable terminal device for detecting approaching of a charged item and protecting a device from the electrostatic discharge. SOLUTION: The electrostatic protection circuit protects a device 20 connected to a circuit pattern 23 against static electricity, and is equipped with a static charge detection part 21 for detecting the static electricity charged on the adjacent object, a switch part 22, arranged between the device 20 and the circuit pattern 23, for switching the device 20 to a discharge path and connecting to the circuit pattern 23, and a control part 10 for controlling the switched connection of the switch part 22 based on the output signal of the static charge detection part 21.
