Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device of a toner for electrostatic image development that has a small amount of coarse grains of toner, has sharp grain size distribution, and is appropriate for shaping property of a high-quality image, and to provide a toner where charge is constant without decreasing even in the latter half of the life and has a small toner consumption amount and a method of manufacturing the toner. SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the toner for electrostatic image development using solution containing resin particles, the ratio of the heating area of a reaction vessel to the volume of the reaction vessel of a process of making the solution containing the resin particles react is 100 (1/m) or lower, and the reaction temperature in a reacting process of the solution containing the resin particles is kept at a target reaction temperature of ±1.0°C for ten minutes or longer. The reaction vessel with a jacket is used, and the reaction vessel includes a stirring means. The device includes a means where the ratio of the heating area of the reaction vessel to the volume of the reaction vessel is 100 (1/m) or lower and is heated by supply of high pressure water vapor into the jacket under decompression by the reaction vessel and/or a means cooled by supply of water into the jacket under decompression.
