Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leak detection system capable of substantially shortening the leak detection time when detecting the leak from a sealed container to be measured at a high temperature. SOLUTION: The leak detection system 1 includes: leak inspection piping 2; a pressure setting means (pressure control valve 6 or the like) setting the pressure of an inspection space at a prescribed pressure different from the atmospheric pressure by allowing an inspection fluid to flow into the inspection space including the inside of the leak inspection piping 2 and the inside of the sealed container 100 to be measured connected to a terminal end of the leak inspection piping 2; and a leak determination means (determination unit 20) determining the presence of leak of the sealed container 100 to be measured on the basis of flow rate characteristics of the inspection fluid flowing through the inspection space after the prescribed pressure is set by the pressure setting means and flow rate characteristics when a reference sealed container without leak is connected in place of the sealed container 100 to be measured.
