PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor without welding distortion of a frame body and reduction of component installation spaces in the frame body, with excellent productivity. SOLUTION: The frame body 4 is constituted of side frame bodies 5A and 5B arranged to be separated to right and left sides, a cross beam member 6 for connecting the right and left side frame bodies 5A and 5B, and a bottom face plate 7. Each of the side frame bodies 5A and 5B is constituted of a cross-sectionally U-shaped member having top face part 5b and bottom face part 5c formed by bending upper and lower ends of a steel plate, and a reinforcing plate 8 along the top face part 5b. The U-shaped member is divided into a plurality of ones in the longitudinal direction of the frame body 4. The cross beam member 6 and the bottom face plate 7 are arranged to stretch over the divided portions of the side face plate. The reinforcing plate 8 is arranged to stretch over the divided portions of the top face part 5b. The U-shaped members are connected between each of the cross beam member 6, the bottom face plate 7 and the reinforcing plate 8 by screw-fastening or normal temperature rivet fastening.
