REINFORCING ROD-CUTTING/CONVEYING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing rod-cutting/conveying device which can produce a short reinforcing rod flake whose production has been impossible heretofore. SOLUTION: The reinforcing rod-cutting/conveying device 1 comprises: a reinforcing rod feed line 3 where a reinforcing rod moves along the longitudinal direction of the device; a reinforcing rod flake exhaust line 4 where a cut reinforcing rod flake moves along the longitudinal direction of the device; and a cutting apparatus 5 provided between the reinforcing rod feed line 3 and the reinforcing rod flake exhaust line in the longitudinal direction of the device and having cutting blades cutting the reinforcing rod into a reinforcing rod flake with a length less than the prescribed one; and an abutting apparatus 6 inserted into the cutting apparatus 5 from the side of the reinforcing rod flake exhaust line 4 when a reinforcing rod is cut into a reinforcing rod flake with a length less than the prescribed one, and also can perform the positioning of the reinforcing rod by being abutted against the tip of the reinforcing rod.
