Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unified method for processing Raw and pre-processed digital images. SOLUTION: Digital image data are received and it is determined whether the data are Raw or pre-processed. If the digital image data are Raw, further, modifications to the Raw image data are received, a sensor profile and an output profile are applied to the data so as to create output-ready digital image data, and the output-ready digital image data are output. If, on the other hand, the digital image data are pre-processed, the sensor profile that has been applied to the pre-processed image data (or a proxy therefor) is received, the pre-processed image data are converted to linear image data using the sensor profile, modifications to the linear image data are received, the sensor profile and an output profile are applied to the data so as to create output-ready digital image data, and the output-ready digital image data are output.
