PROGRAM AND METHOD FOR EDITING SETTING ITEM, AND USER INTERFACE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a setting item editing program and setting item editing method for reconfiguring and displaying a setting screen without causing image defect or flicker of the setting screen, when updating an existing setting screen where predetermined setting items are arranged to the setting screen in which the setting items are arranged according to a user's operation, and to provide a user interface device. SOLUTION: The setting item editing program is executed in the user interface device which has a function to edit a plurality of setting items displayed on an operation screen within one setting screen. The setting item editing program makes the user interface device execute: a procedure to receive an edit instruction to edit the setting items on the setting screen; a procedure to execute editing of setting items based on the edit instruction; and a procedure to display an image different from the setting screen on the setting screen where at least the setting items are changed during the editing.
