Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology related to a biomarker of microdomain disorder, an inexpensive and easily-operable detection method of the microdomain disorder, or the like. SOLUTION: The detection method or the like of the microdomain disorder in a subject animal includes processes for: (1) using GM2A (Ganglioside GM2 Activator) as the biomarker of microdomain disorder, and (2) measuring the amount or activity of GM2A in a biological sample collected from the subject animal; and comparing the measured amount or activity of GM2A with a threshold.
