LOCKING APPARATUS FOR DOUBLE HINGED DOOR TYPE DOOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking apparatus for a double hinged door which prevents the release of the engagement between a latch bolt and a step even when two doors are used in a free state. SOLUTION: A lock unit is provided to one of the two double hinged doors which are pivoted to a box body by a hinge pin provided in the vertical direction, and the step is provided to the other double hinged door. Then, the latch bolt, which is provided to the rotation output part of the lock unit in an interlocked state, is bought into engagement with the step, and the two doors of the locking apparatus for the double hinged door are locked in a closed position. A housing case for the lock unit and the latch bolt is provided on the front side of one of the two doors to which the lock unit is provided, and a guide hole through which the latch bolt moves in and out in the vertical direction is provided on the side of the housing case. Then, the step is arranged and provided on the front side of the other door, and an extended part projecting on the front side of one door is formed in the step. A receiving hole with which the latch bolt is engaged is formed on the side of the extended part in the vertical direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
