Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-inflammatory action-having composition originated from a plant, and to provide a food, drink, animal feed, cosmetic or medicine containing the composition. SOLUTION: There are provided the anti-inflammatory composition characterized by containing the ingredient of Hypericum monogynum which is a semi-evergreen small low tree belonging to Hypericaceae; and the food, drink, animal feed, cosmetic or medicine containing the composition. The Hypericum monogynum may be used in the form of the whole plant body, the leaf portions as such, dried body, or powder prepared by drying and then crushing the body. The Hypericum monogynum may also be used in the form of an extract obtained by extracting these with water, hot water, in an acidic state, in an alkaline state, or an organic solvent such as ethanol, acetone, ethyl acetate or hexane.
