Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pitch error correction method and a pitch error correction device of a machine tool capable of securing a desired machining accuracy error. SOLUTION: A control device 50 calculates a pitch error correction value P1 from an inputted pitch error measuring value P0 of 1-25 points, and registered it with a table at an adjusting stage before shipping. At a shipping destination, the control device 50 reads the pitch error correction value P1 of 1-25 points, and an offset value inputted by a customer from a RAM 53 (S10), and the offset value is added to the pitch error correction value P1 of 1-25 points, so as to renew the pitch error correction value P1 (S11).
