MRI APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) apparatus capable of stabilizing the moving speed of a top plate in the case of photographing an object on the top plate while moving the top plate. SOLUTION: The MRI apparatus includes the top plate 12 for placing the object P; a micro step driving type stepping motor 13 for moving the top plate 12; a static magnetic field generating part 4 generating a static magnetic field applied to the object P; a gradient magnetic field generating part 5 generating a gradient magnetic field applied to the object P; an RF pulse generating part 6 generating RF pulses applied to the object P; an MR signal receiving part 7 receiving MR signals generated from the object P; an input part 16 inputting photographing conditions for photographing the object P; and a moving speed control part 15 changing the moving speed of the top plate 12 by the stepping motor 13 according to the input photographing conditions.
