CONTENT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND ITS CENTER DEVICE, AND CONTENT DISTRIBUTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content distribution system and its center device, and a content distributing method, capable of providing contents matching a preference of a group comprising a plurality of viewers. SOLUTION: A camera 600 which photographs a state wherein an IPTV terminal 500 is viewed is provided, and transfers an image of viewers periodically photographed, for example, during the viewing to an image processing apparatus 800. The image processing apparatus 800 extracts face data of the individuals included in the image, and performs verification with a preregistered database (user image database 802a) to specify the viewers individually. Further, a user is verified with a preregistered registered group database 802b, so that a group including the viewers included in the image is specified as members. On the basis of the verification results, a group profile is specified from a group preference database 802c, and a content matching a preference is presented in groups. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
