NETWORK STANDBY PROCESSING DEVICE, NETWORK CONNECTION APPARATUS EMPLOYING THE SAME, AND NETWORK SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network standby processing device, network connection apparatus employing the same and network system, wherein power consumption can be reduced and system responsiveness can be enhanced. SOLUTION: A network connection apparatus includes a control section, a network-side interface section and a standby processing section. The control section performs power-on/power-off and activation control using the standby processing section. The standby processing section is validated during operation from a power supply cutoff state of the control section to operation start due to the activation control and during such an operational valid state, an input signal including an activation signal from a host side to the control section via the network-side interface section is fetched and held, thereby enabling the power-on and activation control to the control section and a response corresponding to the input signal via the network-side interface section.
