Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling structure of a light source, which can improve a heat transfer rate and can also improve the flexibility and versatility in a passage design compatibly in a cooling jacket. SOLUTION: In the cooling structure of the light source 2 for making a metal heat slinger 3 adhere to the back surface of an insulating ceramic substrate 1 on the surface of which the light source 2 used as a heating element is mounted, for forming the cooling jacket 5 between the heat slinger 3 and a refrigerant storage container 4 to be joined to the heat slinger 3, and for cooling the light source 2 by pouring the refrigerant to the cooling jacket 5, a refrigerant passage is formed in the rugged shape on the back surface facing the inside of the cooling jacket 5 of the heat slinger 3, and a rectangular parallelepiped (or cylindrical) fins 6 are intensively erected right near the back, on which the light source 2 of the heat slinger 3 is mounted, as the rugged shape.
