SOLID-STATE IMAGING ELEMENT, AND IMAGING APPARATUS EQUIPPED WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging element capable of identifying the kind of a light source, using color filters for a plurality of pixels disposed in an imaging region in the shape of a two dimensional matrix, and to provide an imaging apparatus equipped with the same. SOLUTION: This solid-state imaging element includes the imaging region in which a plurality of the pixels 21 having light receiving elements 23 to generate signal charges corresponding to an amount of light received, and color filters 22R, G, B formed on the light receiving elements 23 are disposed in the shape of the two-dimensional matrix, and some of the pixels 21 among a plurality of the pixels 21 are used as pixels 21b for identifying the kinds of light sources by overlappingly forming color filters of two colors or more on the light receiving elements 23. The imaging apparatus corrects the colors of the output of normal pixels 21a based on the output of the pixels 21b for identifying the kinds of light sources. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
