Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a water-absorbent resin which is remarkably improved in a water-absorption amount without degrading other water-absorbing performances. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing a water-absorbent resin includes the following processes (i) and (ii): (i) a process of preparing an aqueous solution containing an acrylic acid-based monomer; and (ii) a process of adding the aqueous solution prepared in the process (i) into an organic solvent containing a polymerization modifier and of polymerizing it.
