Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel shutoff valve capable of reducing impact sounds generated when a float rises and falls. SOLUTION: The fuel shutoff valve 1 is equipped with a casing 2 having a case body 23 to form a valve chest 42, a cylindrical portion 24 arranged over the case body and protruding to the valve chest to form a connecting passage 41, and a seal 25 provided in the lower part of the cylindrical portion, the float 3 accommodated in the valve chest and rising and falling in it, and an impact absorbing member 5 having a seat part 52 arranged on the float and separating and contacting from/with the seal and opening and closing the connecting passage while it rises and falls inside the valve chest together with the float to cause its seat part to separate from the seal and contact with it. The impact absorbing member is equipped with a first, resilient arm part 54 protruded from the seat part on the outside in the radial direction, a second, resilient arm part 53 protruded from the first arm part or the seat part and with its chip forming a free end, and abutting part 53a provided at the chip of the second arm part and abutting to the float, and a fastening part 54c formed at the chip of the first arm part and fastened to the case body when positioned in the lowermost.
