Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that an EM-CCD imaging apparatus using a conventional camera DSP (digital signal processor) is oversaturated when strong light is continuously irradiated to an input image, the image gradually becomes white with time from the bottom of a display part, then the whole of the image becomes white, and finally the whole of the image becomes black, so that the normal imaging function cannot be maintained. SOLUTION: If oversaturation begins, a CPU and an FPGA which are in the imaging apparatus detect the oversaturated state, and a lens iris is automatically changed to an appropriate setting to adjust the amount of light for the image, which comes from input image. Thereby, the abnormal imaging state is avoided before the imaging apparatus is oversaturated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
