Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy storage device having a sealed internal chamber. SOLUTION: The energy storage device includes an isolation plate having a first surface and a second surface. The first surface forms at least a part of a cathode chamber, the second surface an anode chamber. The cathode chamber includes alkali metal halide for forming ions which conducts through the isolation plate. The anode chamber includes a capacity filled up by consumable fluid. An amount of the consumable fluid is greater than 90% of a capacity of the anode chamber. Further, the consumable fluid reacts with an ion kind of the alkali metal halide.
