Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmission method in a memory element, capable of realizing a fast stable reading operation and preventing error data caused by data distortion and a narrow bandwidth from being latched by a pipe latch circuit of an SDRAM. SOLUTION: The memory element includes a data input/output sense amplifier configured to sense and amplify the output data of a memory cell and connected to a global input/output line, and a pipe latch located in one end of the global input/output line to store data. The data transmission method in the memory element includes the step of storing data in a first pipe latch by connecting the global input/output line to the first pipe latch of a plurality of pipe latches, the step of cutting-off the connection after a certain period of time from enabling of the global input/output line, and the step of storing data in a second pipe latch by connecting the global input/output line to the second pipe latch of the plurality of pipe latches in response to a signal for precharging the global input/output line.
