PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a presence situation confirmation system and a presence situation confirmation method for grasping the location situation of a person in a real time in a place to be temporarily used such as a disaster refuge or an event hall. SOLUTION: A presence situation confirmation system 100 is provided with: a plurality of sensor modules 1 arranged in the sequence of physical addresses, and configured to start and transmit pressure detection data including self-unique physical addresses by radio communication to access points; and an information management server 4 for instructing the reception of pressure detection data through the access points, and the acquisition of the unique physical addresses from the pressure detection data, and the display of the positions of the unique physical addresses in a layout diagram arrayed according to the sequence of the physical addresses.
