Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure relative acceleration by using two or more acceleration sensors placed in arbitrary orientations. SOLUTION: This relative acceleration detector includes a first acceleration acquiring section for sequentially acquiring acceleration data output from a first sensor placed on a first detection object; a second acceleration acquiring section for sequentially acquiring acceleration data output from a second sensor placed on a second detection object; a difference estimating section for estimating a difference in orientation between the first sensor and the second sensor on the basis of the acceleration data; an acceleration data converting section that converts, on the basis of the difference, the acceleration data acquired by the second acceleration acquiring section to acceleration data which is estimated to be output from the second sensor when the orientation of the second sensor is coincident with that of the first sensor; a relative acceleration computing section for computing a difference between the acceleration data converted by the acceleration data converting section and the acceleration data acquired by the first acceleration acquiring section; and a relative acceleration storage section for storing the difference.
