Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating safety of an industrial articulated robot which correctly evaluates safety of a robot arm of the industrial articulated robot per material of skin member. SOLUTION: In the impact applying process using a simulating drop apparatus for simulating the robot arm inclined and fallen by its own weight, an impact is applied to a to-be-impacted object 14 by dropping a drop means 10 having an attached test skin member 11. In the measurement process, an impact load is measured per material of different test skin member 11. In the evaluation data generating process, evaluation data are generated per material of the skin member based on a data indicating a relationship between a contact area and the impact load corresponding to a human bone fracture previously collected per material of the skin member and the impact load of the test skin member measured in the measurement process.
