CEILING TILE AND EDGE SUSPENSION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rectangular ceiling tile supported in an exposed-type suspended grid system wherein girders of inverted T-shaped profile are perpendicularly crossed with each other. SOLUTION: The ceiling tile 101 includes a core part. The core part contains a fiber material with two opposite first edges each forming a recess and two opposite second edges each forming a recess, while forming a peripheral rim projecting on a lower face of the tile. An edge-supporting clip 25 engaged with the exposed-type suspended grid system includes one or more arms inserted into or under a transverse edge surface of the core part.
