Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a natural frequency identification method in which a natural frequency in a specific vibration mode as a specific vibration mode of a structure is identified through simple procedures. SOLUTION: This natural frequency identification method superseding a conventional natural frequency identification method includes: a step of connecting a mass damper with a spring along the direction of relatively displacing a screw feeding direction, between two points relatively displaced in the specific vibration mode in the specific location of the structure; a step of acquiring vibration data of the mass damper with the spring in accordance with a damper natural frequency ωr of the mass damper with the spring, while changing the damper natural frequency ωr; and a step of determining the natural frequency ωn in the specific vibration mode of the building through the use of the vibration data.
