Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a proper unwinding end point position when a film is unwound from a film roll to be supplied in a buffering material manufacturing apparatus. SOLUTION: In the buffering material manufacturing apparatus which rotatably supports the film roll 10, wherein a long cylindrical film is wound around a film fixing shaft 12, on a support shaft 20 through the film fixing shaft and repeatedly forms a buffering material to feed out to a downstream side while successively unwinding the cylindrical film from the outer peripheral end of the supported film roll to feed into an apparatus body, the film fixing shaft 12 is provided with RFID tags 22 and equipped with: an antenna 24 for transmitting and receiving radiowaves; a transmitting and receiving means for transmitting the radiowave from the antenna and receiving the specific signals transmitted from the RFID tags corresponding to the radiowave; and a determining means for counting the number of rotations of the film roll from the received specific signals to determine the unwinding end point of the cylindrical film.
