WIRE WINDING DEVICE AND WIRE SAW

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly wind a wire by a reel for a long period. SOLUTION: A wire delivering and winding device 10A has the reel 9A for winding a wire W and a traverser 12A. The traverser 12A includes a driving means such as a guide pulley 40 for guiding the wire W and a traverse motor 54 for moving the guide pulley, a controller 60 for controlling the driving means, and a linear sensor 56 for detecting the position of the wire W with respect to the guide pulley 40. The controller 60 performs the drive control of the traverse motor 54 to reciprocally start the guide pulley 40, and changes the moving range of the guide pulley 40 so that the wire W is wound within the predetermined winding area of the reel 9A based on the deviation between the position of the wire W to be detected by the linear sensor 56 and its reference position.
