VERTICAL GRAIN SORTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical grain sorter which can sort bran early. SOLUTION: Grain is supplied from a hopper 5 to a supply tube 4, and introduced into a guide tube 10. In the guide tube 10, a lifting screw tube 30 is arranged concentricaly, and the grain is lifted by a screw blade 31 of the lifting screw tube 30. At that time, the lightest bran in specific gravity passes through from a net-like body 13 of the guide tube 10 at a sorting initial step, thereafter broken rice and small-sized rice pass through a net of a screening net body 20, and good grain (a) not passing through the net of the screening net body 20 is discharged in a storage tank 3, by which the bran passing through the net-like body 13 is discharged in a lower exhaust passage 18b partitioned by a partition board 17 and an upper side flange part 14, and recovered early in a bran picking box 8 without floating over the whole substrate 2.
