Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable support that performs support and release of a cable with high efficiency of work in simple operation. SOLUTION: The cable support includes: a holding frame 4, which is U-shaped or C-shaped and has an opening 3 on one flank and has an attaching part 5 to a supporting rod at its lower end; a stopper 10, one end of which is supported rotatably at one flank of the opening 3 of the holding frame 4 and also which is turned and energized outward of the opening 3; and a locking means 14, which has a locking piece 15 that is turnable between an engaging position, in which it engages with the other end of the stopper 10, and an engagement release position, in which it releases the engagement, rotating inward of the opening 3, and prevents, possibly of release operation, the stopper 10 from rotating outward from the posture of having closed the opening 3.
