PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus capable of visually confirming content summary information even if any error occurs during use of the communication apparatus and error contents are displayed. SOLUTION: In a case where acquisition of feed information or creation of display information created by analyzing the feed information fail, according to a multi function machine (MFP) 10, contents of error indicating the failure (error title character string 148, error occurrence date/time information 150, error summary character string 152 and error URL 154) are added to display information 112. Therefore, the contents of the error can be scroll-displayed on a display panel 50 together with various kinds of information contained in update content information 132. Accordingly, even if any error caused by such a failure occurs during use of the MFP 10 and contents of the error are displayed, the user is enabled to visually confirm various kinds of information contained in the update content information 132.
