Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical compensation film excellent in reworkability, a method for manufacturing the same, and a liquid crystal display device using the optical compensation film. SOLUTION: This optical compensation film has a bar-like vertically aligned liquid crystal layer on a transparent base material film. On the surface of the bar-like vertically aligned liquid crystal layer, the value of a parameter Mr1(%) of the structural surface defined by JIS B0671:2002 is in the range of 20-35%.
