INDOOR UNIT FOR AIR CONDITIONER AND THE AIR CONDITIONER INCLUDING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit for an air conditioner capable of easily and effectively suppressing the scattering of condensation water generated in a heat exchanger and the air conditioner including the indoor unit. SOLUTION: The indoor unit 25 includes: a casing 15 having a suction port 11 and a blowout port 13; an air blower 17 arranged in the casing 15, sucking indoor air from the suction port 11 to the inside of the casing 15 and blowing out the indoor air from the blowout port 13 to the outside of the casing 15; a heat exchanger 19 arranged in the casing 15; and an indoor control part 75a for executing condensation water removing operation for increasing the flow speed of air passing through the heat exchanger 19 in stages to remove condensation water 53 generated in the heat exchanger 19.
