REFRIGERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator including a door opening mechanism capable of selectively opening one or both a pair of opening/closing doors by one opening operation. SOLUTION: In this refrigerator, a front part of a refrigerating compartment 10 positioned at the uppermost section of a housing 2 is covered by the pair of opening/closing doors 50 openable and closable through rotating shafts 3 at both sides of the refrigerating compartment 10. In the refrigerator, a handle section 60a for opening one of the opening/closing doors 50a, an operation lever 110 slidably disposed at a free end side 4b of the handle 60a, a slide bar 111 connected with the operation lever 110 and projecting to a free end side 4, and a spring body 115 acting to return the operation lever 110 to the handle 60a side are disposed at a lower end at the free end side 4a of one of the opening/closing doors 50a, and a fitting section 150 fitted to the slide bar 111 is disposed at a free end side 4b of the other opening/closing door 50b. The fitting section 150 includes an opening contact section 151 disposed at a front section of an orbit passage of the slide bar 111 with a prescribed clearance 152. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
