Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pyro actuator improving the durability of a seal ring. SOLUTION: In a communication passage 41 communicating a gas housing part 4 having an igniter 5 with a housing body part 2 storing a piston 3, a bottomed cylindrical partition wall member 12 is provided which normally closes the communication passage 41 and the bottom wall 12a of which is ruptured by gas pressure generated by the igniter 5 to open the communication passage 41. Thus, the temperature of high temperature gas generated by the igniter 5 is lowered during a time when it is temporarily sealed in the gas housing part 4 closed with the partition wall member 12, and thereby relatively low temperature gas is supplied to an operating chamber 21 to suppress the deterioration of an O-ring 6 of the piston 3 due to the high temperature influence, resulting in improvement in durability of the pyro actuator 1.
