IMAGE READING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD OF IMAGE READING APPARATUS, AND CONTROL PROGRAM FOR THE IMAGE READING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading apparatus, capable of reading a large-sized document that could not be read by conventional one-dimensional sensor type image reading apparatuses. SOLUTION: An image reading apparatus reads a document by using a reader 2, including a plurality of pixels arrayed in a two-dimensional manner. Each of the plurality of pixels includes a photoelectric transducer for detecting the light from the document. The document fed on the reader 2 by an automatic document feeder (ADF) 13 is read, by using a plurality of pixels 12 arranged on an oblique line side by side among the plurality of pixels of the reader 2.
