COLLECTOR FOR NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY, ELECTRODE FOR NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY, THOSE MANUFACTURING METHODS, AND NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collector for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of restraining generation of troubles in an electrode such as waviness, wrinkles, and warping or the like as well as falling-off of an active material layer. SOLUTION: The collector 10 is provided with projections 12 arranged in a predetermined order on one side or both sides of a metal foil 11. The projections are nearly diamond-shaped and arranged in a zigzagging alignment. Moreover, both of end parts in direction of two axes crossing each other are protruded outside, while the intermediated parts of each end parts retreat inside. With this, a cylindrical body of an active material is formed on the projection, and for composing an active material layer, an air gap between the projections can be made large at a position where an interval of the projections becomes smallest.
