Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure an available period in which a fire alarming operation normally operates as long as possible even though a battery capacity reduction alarm is output. SOLUTION: The alarm 10 operates by a battery power supply 36, receives a fire detection signal from a sensor part 26 and outputs a fire alarm from a notifying part 28. A battery testing part 50 periodically performs a battery load test which supplies a load current same as that in an abnormal alarm period to the battery power supply 36 to detect a battery voltage. A battery capacity monitoring part 52 determines battery capacity reduction when the battery voltage detected by the battery load test drops to a predetermined threshold or below, intermittently outputs a battery capacity reduction alarm from the notifying part 28, and stops subsequent periodical battery load tests.
