Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal projector, etc., the projector being able to form an image on a liquid crystal panel without connecting a circuit board and a liquid crystal panel by means of a cable. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal projector 100 has the circuit board 130 and a light modulator 110. In the liquid crystal projector, the circuit board 130 includes: an image information-generating section 132 that generates image information for image display; and a transmitting section 134 that transmits the image information to the light modulator 110 by means of radio. The light modulator 110 has: a reception part 112 that receives the image information by means of radio; at least one liquid crystal panel 50; and a driving section 114 that drives the liquid crystal panel 50 on the basis of the image information.
