Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle, reducing the power consumption. SOLUTION: The display device for a vehicle is configured to have: a plurality of display lights 100-108, 111-118, 121-125 which light on/off based on the condition of the vehicle; a display light shutoff switch 44 for outputting a selection signal which puts the display lights in lighting sequentially to a selection mode based on the short-push operation by an occupant and outputting an instruction signal, which puts the display light in the selection mode to shut off or to dim, based on the long-push operation by the occupant; and a microcomputer 60 which puts the display lights in lighting sequentially to a selection mode, based on the selection signal, and which shuts off or dims the display light in the selection mode when the instruction signal is inputted.
