Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display for a vehicle which does not require a light source exclusive for illuminating a design screen 11, and the space and components for the light source. SOLUTION: In the display for the vehicle, a half mirror layer 3a is formed on a translucent plate 3 so that a part of the light emitted by a back light 20 and transmitted through a liquid crystal panel 10 is reflected with the half mirror layer 3a and illuminates the design screen 11. Thereby, the exclusive light source for illuminating the design screen 11 is not required, and thus the space and components for composing the light source part are not required, and the display for the vehicle can be produced at low cost and is easy to be installed in an instrument panel.
