Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humanized antibody and the like specific to human interleukin-5 containing heavy chains and light chains. SOLUTION: A neutralizing monoclonal antibody exhibiting binding affinity of rodentia (e.g. rat and mouse) specific to human interleukin-5 and characterized by a dissociation constant equal to about 3.5x10-11M or less than the same is provided. Neutralizing Fab fragments specific to human interleukin-5 produced by deleting the Fc region of the neutralizing monoclonal antibody of rodentia or F(ab')2fragments thereof are also provided.
