Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel tungsten peroxide compound having a high catalytic activity in epoxidation reaction of an unsaturated bond compound, and to provide a catalyst including the novel tungsten peroxide compound. SOLUTION: It is found that a tungsten peroxide compound having a specific structure exhibits a high catalytic activity in epoxidation reaction of an unsaturated bond compound with an oxidizing agent. That is, the purpose is achieved by a tungsten peroxide compound having a specific structure containing selenium element or tellurium element and a catalyst including the compound.
