PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine effectively using a display panel section and capable of offering a plurality of display modes with a single lumbar-region panel. SOLUTION: The game machine includes: a display panel displaying a plurality of images and having an optical transparency; a light guide plate provided at the back side of the display panel and guiding a light entering from a predetermined direction to the display panel; a first light-emitting device disposed at the end of the light guide plate and allowing the light to enter from a predetermined direction with respect to the light guide plate; light-shielding plates partitioning a back-side area of the display panel into a plurality of partitions and shielding the light entering from the partitioned other areas; a plurality of second light-emitting devices disposed in the respective partitions shielded by the light-shielding plates and emitting a light of a different color from the first light-emitting device; and a light emission control means controlling the light emission of the first light-emitting device and the second light-emitting devices. The light emission control means controls a second light-emitting device corresponding to an image to be highlighted out of the plurality of second light-emitting devices so as to highlight at least one image displayed to the display panel.
