Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image system that automatically extracts and displays an image which a user has not viewed for a while. SOLUTION: Each time a process such as display, printing or the like is performed wiht each image, the image reproduction system adds a count value corresponding to the process to calculate a counter. If the user operates remote controller or the like to select "image that has not been viewed for a while" and gives a command for a start of a slide show, based on the calculated counter, the "image that has not been viewed for a while" is automatically extracted and a slide show of the extracted images is displayed.
